New August 2026 Hours! The Houston Zoo will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m in August. Ticket holders can enter any time after your ticket’s listed arrival time. You are welcome to enjoy the Zoo until we close at 4:00 p.m. Last entry is at 3:00 p.m.
Our regular 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule will resume in September.
